Alternator
A generator alternator is a key component in a generator responsible for converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. It operates using the principle of electromagnetic induction, where a rotating magnetic field induces an alternating current (AC) in the stator windings. The alternator consists of two main parts:
- Rotor – The rotating part that generates a magnetic field.
- Stator – The stationary part containing wire windings where electricity is produced.
